The Karate 1-Series A season wraps up with its third and final event in Salzburg, Austria, from September 13 to 15, 2024. Following successful tournaments in Athens, Greece, and Larnaca, Cyprus, the international karate competition heads to Salzburg for its highly anticipated conclusion.
Salzburg, which last hosted a Karate 1-Series A event in 2019, is known for its rich history with karate tournaments. The city previously welcomed over 1,800 athletes from 98 countries in 2019, making it one of the biggest karate events of that year. Additionally, Salzburg has hosted Karate 1-Premier League events from 2014 to 2016 and Karate 1-Series A events in 2017 and 2018.
The Karate 1-Series A serves as a premier platform for athletes to climb the WKF World Rankings. With top-tier international tournaments held across the globe, the series offers competitors multiple chances to boost their standing in the karate world.
