Grace Lau Mo-sheung (born 19 October 1991) is a karate athlete from Hong Kong. She made history by winning the bronze medal in the women’s kata event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, becoming the first athlete from Hong Kong to achieve an Olympic medal in karate. Lau has an impressive record, having won medals multiple times in various prestigious championships.

She has achieved success in the women's individual kata event at the World Karate Championships, earning three medals. Additionally, Lau has also claimed medals in this event at the Asian Games and the World Beach Games. With a total of six medals, including gold, Lau has been a consistent performer at the Asian Karate Championships.

Her journey to success includes winning the silver medal in the women's kata event at the 2015 Asian Karate Championships in Yokohama, Japan. In 2018, she secured one of the bronze medals in the women's kata event at both the Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the World Karate Championships in Madrid, Spain.

Furthermore, Lau has been a medalist at the Asian Karate Championships in 2015, 2018, and 2019. Notably, at the 2019 Asian Karate Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she won the silver medal in the women's individual kata event.

In 2020, Lau represented Hong Kong at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where she clinched the bronze medal in the women’s kata event by defeating Dilara Bozan of Turkey with a score of 26.94. She also had the honor of being the flag bearer for Hong Kong during the closing ceremony of the Olympics.

Continuing her success, she secured one of the bronze medals in the women's individual kata event at the 2021 World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, just a few months after the Olympics. Subsequently, she won another bronze medal in her event at the Asian Karate Championships held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Lau's achievements extend to international events such as the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, United States, where she won the bronze medal in the women's kata event.

In July 2023, Lau clinched the gold medal in her event at the Asian Karate Championships held in Malacca, Malaysia. Later that year, in October 2023, she secured one of the bronze medals in the women's kata event at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. Additionally, she won the silver medal in the women's individual kata event at the 2023 World Karate Championships held in Budapest, Hungary, further solidifying her position as a top karate athlete on the international stage.
